You’ll play a vital role in supporting patients by verifying insurance benefits, coordinating pre-authorizations, and ensuring accurate billing—helping patients navigate their care and receive their product with clarity and compassion.
What You’ll Do
Verify patient insurance eligibility and obtain pre-certifications
Collect and prepare required documentation to meet payer guidelines (PPO, HMO, Managed Care)
Code and process work orders for accurate data entry and billing
Communicate clearly with patients about coverage details, financial responsibilities, and billing questions
Collaborate with physicians, payers, and patients to resolve insurance and billing inquiries
Ensure patient files are complete and compliant before submission to billing
Support efficient workflow and maintain professional, courteous communication throughout
Assist with additional tasks as directed by supervisors
What We’re Looking For
Proven ability to communicate effectively with patients, providers, and insurance representatives
Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
High school diploma or equivalent
Medical terminology or coding knowledge is a plus
Commitment to professionalism, confidentiality, and delivering excellent customer service
