Product Sustenance Lead

HCLTech is looking for a highly talented and self‑motivated Product Sustenance Lead to join it in advancing the technological world through innovation and creativity.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and qualify electromechanical components (switch assemblies, cable assemblies, PCBAs).
Perform Measurement Systems Analysis and establish calibration requirements.
Collaborate with suppliers to meet cost, quality, and performance objectives.
Drive component qualification activities and monitor execution.
Conduct Design of Experiments (DOE), Process Stability/Control/Capability studies for process characterization and equipment development.
Communicate design requirements and process capability needs effectively with suppliers.
Support design transfer activities from development to production.
Electronics & Embedded Development
Perform board bring‑up and design reviews (DFMEA, DFM, board revisions).
Develop low‑level embedded drivers for on‑board peripherals and motor control.
Update schematics and BOM for PCBAs.
Write and execute module test plans.
Prepare engineering studies for board‑level and device‑level testing.
Develop test specifications for ICT (In‑Circuit Test) and FCT (Functional Circuit Test).
Facilitate technical discussions between suppliers and design teams to resolve issues.
Review hardware and fixture designs for functional testers.
Oversee ICT/FCT qualification and deployment at manufacturing plants.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
Strong understanding of electromechanical components and PCB assemblies.
Proficiency in DOE, process capability analysis, and calibration systems.
Experience in embedded systems development and motor control.
Familiarity with DFMEA, DFM, and design transfer processes.
Hands‑on experience with ICT/FCT test development and deployment.
Excellent communication and supplier management skills.
Ability to travel up to 30% (domestic and international).
Preferred Experience
Experience in automotive, aerospace, or industrial electronics.
Knowledge of quality standards and compliance requirements.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Pay and Benefits
Pay Range Minimum: $88,000 per year
Pay Range Maximum: $134,000 per year
