Role FMI’s Performance Practice is seeking a high-energy, self-motivated analyst to join our consulting team. In this full-time position based in Tampa, Florida, you will engage in range data analytics activities to help clients make pivotal decisions across strategy, business development, operations, financial and risk management, productivity, and more. The role follows a hybrid work model with an expectation of being on-site at least three days per week.

Requirements

Legally authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis. No visa sponsorship at this time.

Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business, Economics, Management, Finance, or Business Analytics).

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams). Advanced Excel capabilities in formulas, complex modeling, and visualizations.

Tableau for data visualization is preferred.

Familiarity with Python for analysis and MySQL Workbench querying and schema design is a plus.

Experience in Generative AI like ChatGPT is also a plus.

Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a focus on clear and persuasive reporting.

Relationship-building skills for team collaboration and client engagement.

Experience or knowledge of the construction industry is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

Work alongside FMI consulting teams to develop analyses and data visualizations to support consulting engagements and client outcomes.

Assist engagement teams with the practical interpretations and business implications of data analyses.

Collect, consolidate, and structure data from clients, internal databases, and external sources.

Work with FMI’s Corporate Data Services team to continuously refine internal and external analytics processes and templates to improve project delivery efficiency and quality.
