About the Opportunity A well‑established structural engineering consultancy in Long Island is seeking a motivated Junior Structural Engineer to join their growing team. This role is ideal for someone with 2-5 years of structural design experience in New York, particularly within commercial and residential new‑build projects.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the structural design of commercial and residential new‑construction projects.

Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and technical documentation.

Collaborate with senior engineers on project planning, analysis, and design development.

Conduct site visits and support construction administration activities.

Participate in internal reviews to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and best practices.

What They're Looking For

2-5 years of structural engineering experience in New York.

Exposure to commercial and residential new construction.

Familiarity with local building codes and permitting processes.

Proficiency with structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, RAM, RISA, or similar).

E.I.T. certification preferred; PE track encouraged.
