The Leasing Agent delivers a hospitality-focused leasing experience while supporting daily operations at a residential community. This role combines sales, customer service, and relationship-building to attract prospects, convert leases, and support resident satisfaction. Leasing Agents represent both the property and Stratton Amenities with professionalism and a strong service mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Lease apartment homes and support occupancy and renewal goals
Deliver a high-quality, service-driven experience for prospects and residents
Conduct professional property tours and showcase apartments and amenities
Respond to phone, email, and in-person inquiries and follow up with prospects
Prepare and process lease documents accurately and on time
Maintain knowledge of floor plans, pricing, availability, and local market conditions
Enter and maintain accurate leasing and prospect data in property management systems
Partner with on-site property management and maintenance teams
Assist with resident events, move-ins, and community engagement efforts
Address resident questions or concerns and ensure timely follow-through
Support basic administrative and reporting tasks as needed
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in leasing, hospitality, retail sales, or customer service preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Sales-oriented with the ability to confidently close leases
Professional appearance and demeanor
Comfortable using computers and property management software
Ability to work weekends and holidays as required
Bilingual skills are a plus but not required
Customer-focused and service-driven
Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
Confident communicator, both written and verbal
Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Basic math and data entry skills
Schedule
Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week
Schedule may include weekends and holidays
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and tour the property regularly
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
