You’ll work side‑by‑side with these experts and contribute to reliable, resilient and sustainable power systems, helping communities thrive and industries expand.

Responsibilities

Provide pre‑negotiation project, parcel and property owner due diligence and non‑complex negotiations for acquisition of rights relative to public or private projects as assigned.

Review appraisals and research comparable properties, prepare Market Analysis and Waiver Valuations following Federal and State guidelines as applicable.

Verify ownership and the extent of interests; prepare offer packages; maintain complete and detailed records/files with owner contacts, agency representatives and project team.

Prepare non‑survey quality maps, drawings, exhibits and detailed progress reports to aid in negotiations.

Communicate effectively with internal and external clients.

Demonstrate strong time management and organizational skills.

Experience with federal, state and local agencies, private industry and landowners to facilitate acquisition of necessary right‑of‑way for public projects.

Knowledgeable in title research and utility acquisition practices for permanent and temporary easements.

Be proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Experienced with relational databases and agreement documentation.

Conduct research and navigate the Internet.

Read, review and quality‑check engineering project plans and legal descriptions.

Draft various types of real‑estate documents, such as deeds, easements, leases and purchase agreements.

Be available for travel (in‑state and out‑of‑state) as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

Real‑estate license in good standing, or equivalent, as required by law.

Database and GIS familiarity.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of experience in real estate or 120 hours of documented real‑estate training.

Ability to understand and comply with federal, state and local laws and regulations specific to the real‑estate and right‑of‑way industry (e.g., Uniform Act, FERC, NEPA).

Proficient with standard technology tools such as Microsoft Office and Project.

Strong communication skills and basic negotiation and presentation skills.

Ability to work confidently with clients, property owners and occupants.

Effectively balance office and field work in a collaborative and deadline‑sensitive manner.

Availability to work flexible hours and coordinate closely with management.
