is looking for a
Loan Processing Manager
to lead, supervise, and manage the loan processing team at a branch level.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Daily pipeline management, monitoring the following reports: Projected to Close, Timeline Exception, Loan Processor Error Report, Loans in Process Report.
Direct processing staff to ensure a smooth and accurate workflow.
Maintain the branch processing team’s Timeline Exception ratio at less than 20%.
Monitor and train the team on customer service, maintaining a processing team score above 90%.
Monitor and train the team to maintain a QC score of 1.75.
Ensure the processing team follows all DHI Mortgage policies, procedures, and federal and state regulations regarding loan application processing.
Update the processing team on all operational policies and procedures.
Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner.
Ability to travel overnight.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Supervises 2 or more employees.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university.
Two to four years of related experience and/or training.
Valid and current Mortgage Loan Originator License as required by state regulations.
Extensive knowledge of local, state, and federal mortgage lending guidelines.
Comprehensive knowledge of TRID, FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, and VA guidelines.
Knowledge of FHA Connection, Encompass, and the VA portal.
Ability to multitask in a high‑stress, deadline‑driven environment while keeping team members focused on pipeline management.
Superb interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions in written or oral form or via DRH applications.
Proficiency with MS Office and e‑mail.
Ability to sit for majority of an 8‑hour workday, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required include close and peripheral vision.
Ability to work in a moderate noise level.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
Knowledge of mortgage loan origination software.
