Responsibilities
Assist Real Estate attorneys in the Real Estate Finance Practice Group.
Work with clients, title companies, agencies directly.
Hybrid position – three days in office, two days remote.
Core Responsibilities
Experience with lender side of commercial real estate closings; title, survey, zoning review; assist closing attorneys with lender requirements.
Review real estate documents – title, survey, zoning reports.
Analyze title commitment, title exception documents and surveys, zoning reports; prepare letters to obtain lender’s loan policies and approved surveys; assist attorneys with related items for closing.
Work directly with surveyors, title companies, zoning consultants, third‑party vendors as required for transaction.
Conduct due diligence during closing process to obtain proforma loan policies, surveys, zoning reports.
Other duties as needed to support the Commercial Real Estate Finance Practice Group.
Skills
Work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
High professionalism and interpersonal skills; work well internally and externally, maintain strict confidence.
Communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.
Detail oriented, extremely organized; manage multiple projects, follow through without prompting.
Process routine daily functions while resolving sensitive issues and assignments.
Requirements
Five years of experience in commercial real estate as a paralegal.
Paralegal certificate or equivalent.
Undergraduate degree preferred.
Salary & Benefits Salary range: $90,000 – $110,000, depending on experience.
