Commercial/Consumer Loan Officer at BancFirst
The Commercial/Consumer Loan Officer is primarily responsible for making and servicing business and individual loans involving significant secured and unsecured amounts. The role includes credit analysis, loan proposal negotiation, new business development, and community engagement to expand the bank’s customer base. Responsibilities
Monitors and manages existing credit relationships, including note renewals, financial statement analysis, collateral valuation, cash flow analysis, and delinquency reporting. Documents exceptions, conducts covenant monitoring, and compiles reports to ensure asset and credit quality compliance with policies and regulations. Negociates loan proposals, evaluates credit requests, writes loan commitments, and recommends appropriate credit grades. Creates written loan memos and presents credit approval decisions; implements approval or decline actions. Develops new business by identifying and calling on existing or prospective customers, promotes cross-sell of bank services, and works with bank operation areas to provide quality service. Participates in community and professional activities to enhance the bank’s image and expand personal contacts for new business development. Assists with other job related duties and special projects as requested. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required (Business major or Formal Credit training preferred). OR Minimum of 5 years experience underwriting Commercial Loans as well as Consumer Loan experience. Must have ability to analyze complex financial data and write detailed credit memorandums. Must have ability to grow quality portfolio with annual performance goals. Excellent communication skills with the ability to prepare and deliver persuasive verbal and written reports and presentations. Efficient computer skills including knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications. Physical Requirements
Constant use of computer screens. Ability to operate a computer keyboard. Intermittently standing, stooping, bending at the waist, walking, kneeling or crouching. Long periods of typing and repetitive motion. Ability to lift and/or move and carry 10 pounds. Location
