We are looking for a
Defense Pricing Analyst
to join our Target Rock team!
As our Defense Pricing Analyst, you will be responsible for pricing support by preparing estimates, analyzing data and ensuring FAR and company policy compliance. Work under minimal supervision and collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely pricing. The role is integral to our success as there is daily direct interface and communication with our clients. You are responsible for managing all pricing actions for the applicable product line, taking into consideration customers’ needs as well as the company’s requirements. Ensure all pricing commitments are met, on schedule, by all departments including Engineering, Operations, Quality and Accounting.

Salary $81,100 to $105,000

Responsibilities
Lead cross‑functional teams to ensure all pricing actions are satisfied
Create, track, assign and distribute various documentation/reports for managing and monitoring the applicable pricing deliverables
Support Sales in request for quotes (RFQ) and/or invitations to bid (ITB) reviews, spec. reviews, terms and conditions (T&C) review and project/budget histories
Customer interface including scheduling customer reviews of pricing deliverables, coordinating with all internal stakeholders
Compare estimates to historical data and identify variances
Collaborate with internal teams to gather anticipated labor, materials and overhead costs
Generate standard pricing reports and maintain cost databases
Support on‑time delivery and FAR compliant proposals
Additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned by Supervisor
What You Bring
Must be a US citizen
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Marketing or related field
2–4 years of pricing, cost analysis, or financial modeling experience
Basic understanding of proposal processes and pricing compliance
Strong analytical and Excel skills, particularly with gathering data and applying formulas for analysis, with attention to detail
Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
Strong oral and written communication skills with knowledge of MS Office
Competencies: Project management, negotiations, contract management, strategic planning, budgeting and project finance

What You Bring
