What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Build and maintain actuarial models for pricing, valuation, and financial projections of pet insurance products
Analyze complex data to identify trends, assess risk, and support strategic decisions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new products and ensure competitive pricing
Prepare actionable insights and recommendations for leadership to drive business growth
Contribute to a culture of collaboration and innovation through peer reviews and knowledge sharing
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field
Progress towards ASA or ACAS designation, with completion of 1-3 exam requirements
0-2 years of actuarial experience, ideally in insurance or financial services
Strong technical skills in actuarial software, Microsoft Office (including VBA), and programming languages like R, Python, or SQL
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Internship, associate rotation, or tutoring experience in a relevant field
Basic understanding of analytical software (such as Tableau) and programming languages
Demonstrated leadership skills and competencies
