The Role As an Audit Senior, you will perform detailed assurance and audit procedures for clients in a variety of industries. Your responsibilities include researching and analyzing financial statements, preparing thorough audit documentation in accordance with US GAAP, IFRS, PCAOB and firm standards, and training and developing audit staff. The role is hybrid, with options to work from either our Pasadena, CA or Irvine, CA office.
Key Responsibilities
Perform field work on financial statement audit and accounting engagements.
Monitor progress of engagements in relation to budgets and due dates.
Direct the work of staff assigned to client engagements.
Assist with engagement planning.
Train, supervise, and develop staff on engagements.Review work before submission to Managers for further review.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops or classes, reviewing publications, building networks and participating in professional societies.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed, including special projects.
Prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Communicate effectively and act as liaison among Managers, clients, and staff.
Required Qualifications
2+ years of financial statement audit experience at a public accounting firm.
BA/BS degree in accounting or business from an accredited university.
Experience working with privately held clients.
Must be able to travel to client locations.
Strategic thinker with strong organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in accounting.
Licensed and currently active CPA or working toward CPA designation.
Industry experience in manufacturing, real estate, construction, or non‑profit.
Experience using Caseware.
Applied working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and U.S. GAAS.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.

The pay range for this role is $80,000 – $110,000 per year. This range includes the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual compensation may vary based on various factors, including experience, education, and/or skill level.
