We are looking for a talented Senior Systems Programmer to join our team and take charge of installing, maintaining, and enhancing system software programs in our mainframe environment. Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain systems software programs to ensure optimal performance and functionality.

Assist with the identification, evaluation, and customization of vendor-supplied systems software packages.

Provide expert technical assistance and guidance to fellow systems programmers.

Conduct in-depth research and analysis of hardware system components to support system performance.

Review performance and utilization data to prepare capacity planning reports, ensuring systems have sufficient capacity to meet business needs.

Design, implement, and execute the Business Recovery Plan, including conducting annual tests to ensure business continuity.

Collaborate with the mainframe engineering team to install, configure, and update the mainframe environment.

Education Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.

Experience

Minimum 10 years of experience in IBM mainframe O/S System Programming.

DB2 systems programming experience in a mainframe environment is highly preferred.

Hands‑on experience in Storage Administration.

Expertise in IOCP/HCD Administration.

Security Administration experience (specifically CA‑Top Secret) is a plus.

In‑depth knowledge of IBM operating system utilities for problem determination and resolution.

Experience with system and application problem determination and resolution.

Familiarity with SMP/E to install operating systems and program products, as well as applying required maintenance.

Proficiency in MS Office products.

z/VM experience is preferred.
