Job Location
This position is located in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. It is open to current OKDHS employees only.
Compensation and Benefits Shift‑diff pay is paid after standard hours. Applicants who possess a Master’s Degree in Social Work will be entitled to a salary incentive of an additional 5%. On‑call positions will receive an additional bonus ranging from $100 to $150 every two weeks, depending on responsibilities. Travel is occasional; a valid driver's license and required car insurance are required.
Minimum Qualifications
OR
a Bachelor’s Degree plus one year of experience as a Child Welfare Specialist.
OR
two years of experience as a Child Welfare Specialist.
Job Responsibilities
Position serves as a Family Meeting Continuum (FMC) Facilitator in a specialized unit within Region 4.
Conducts Child Safety Meetings (CSM) to guide the decision‑making process for determining the child’s safety needs and the best intervention strategy during the Child Protective Services (CPS) investigation process.
Plans, facilitates, and documents family meetings throughout the life of the case to provide families with a consistent moderator of family information and case dynamics.
Acts as an accountability partner for meeting compliance, timeliness, and quality.
Preference may be given to a candidate with at least one year of experience as a Child Welfare Specialist.
