Essential Functions
Assist and support the maintenance team.
Perform inspections, cleaning, maintenance, and repairs of manufacturing equipment.
Carry out repairs and maintenance of facility building and grounds.
Operate and maintain hand, power, and pneumatic tools.
Clean and prepare work areas and workstations for use by mechanics and other technicians.
Document and keep maintenance work orders.
Perform other basic repairs and duties as assigned by the maintenance supervisor.
Work with minimal to no supervision.
Follow safe work practices and adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
Complete forklift, scissor lift, and lockout/tagout training.
Education
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
Experience
1‑2 years related experience and/or training preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Proficient with hand, power, and pneumatic tools.
Strong problem‑solving skills to troubleshoot machinery.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to interpret maintenance instructions, manuals, safety rules, and other documents.
Excellent time‑management skills to complete a variety of tasks.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Physical & Environmental Factors
Works indoors within office and manufacturing areas.
Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and chemicals.
Noisy environment moderate to loud.
Regularly required to sit and talk or hear.
Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
Occasionally required to stand and walk.
Must occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required: close vision.
ITAR & EAR Compliance This role is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The incumbent must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident (“green card” holder), or have refugee or asylee status.
Pay Range $25–29 per hour.
