Lead Title Specialist (Onsite)

The Lead Title Specialist within the Title Services Group will be a subject matter expert in all areas of the Title Services Group, be a front line resource for team member questions, perform fulfillment of daily transactions, facilitate training to team members, and ensure success in achieving department Service Levels and Quality expectations. Key Responsibilities
Accurately records incoming titles and documents daily according to established procedures. Reviews all documents received to ensure that they are acceptable according to applicable state and DMV requirements and that all forms are accurately completed, signed, and notarized. Completes the necessary documents required for titling including signatures under POA. Troubleshoot problems and determine correct resolution to specific titles, odometer discrepancies and power of attorney, and perform title history checks as required. Professionally and courteously interacts with state/county offices to provide information in response to inquiries pertaining to the Title Center customers. Responds and prioritizes Title Center customer requests, concerns and problems and ensures an immediate response and follow-through until issue is resolved, seeking assistance from Title Supervisor or Title Manager. Records requests and resolutions in the Activity History section of DDI’s software program. Serves as the first point of contact for the Title Team. Assists in training team members in titling transactions. Prepares and maintains customer checklists. Monitors the work processes and QC’s the team’s work. Completes the entire process between buyers, lenders, and owners. Processes titles from the state. Stays current with title laws in multiple states. Maintains an organized workspace/area that is conducive to the overall success of the department. May be required to work overtime as the business needs arise. Assists with other functions and/or duties as needed. Minimum Qualifications and Experience
High School Diploma, General Educational Development (GED) or comparable completed educational certification. Proficient in using Microsoft Office or Google Suite products. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent people skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and other departments throughout an organization. Preferred
Previous leadership experience. Experience in a fast-paced production environment. Familiarity with automotive, titling or finance industry. Critical thinking skills. Proven ability to organize and prioritize daily work. Perform routine and repetitive production work. Sit or stand, for lengthy periods of time. Prolonged exposure to computer screens. The primary schedule is Day Shift-8:00AM - 4:30PM ET, Monday - Friday. There may be occasions that require overtime, evening, holiday, or weekend shifts. Ability to lift or push up to 35 lbs. The hourly rate range for this position is:
$21 - $26 The final pay for this position will be determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, location, education, experience, training and skills.
