Make a difference, gain exposure to new human resources challenges (including international candidate work visas and internship program) and work as part of a team.
Responsibilities
Managing the employee life-cycle processing new hires, conducting new hire orientations, 30/60/90 interviews, processing separations/terminations, and promotions of both union and non-union employees.
Assist with recruiting and oversee Internship program
Assist with audits
Administration of benefits, including medical, dental, vision and 401K for both California and Colorado.
Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality
Builds positive relationships with both craft labor and office personnel
Answers general HR questions and coordinating resolutions
Assist in the implementation of employee engagement events
Stay current on HR trends and best practices
Other projects as assigned

Education and Experience
3+ years' experience in Human Resources
Basic knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations
Experience working with Unions is a plus
Basic understanding and knowledge of Microsoft Office products including but not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Strong problem-solving and decision‑making abilities
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
