Description We are seeking a junior analyst to review and assess external Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and incident reporting relevant to DOE missions and locations. This role supports a newly formed analytic cell and works closely with operations centers, DOE sites, and external partners. This position is dependent on being fully funded by the government.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Create and maintain persistent searches across multiple systems to identify SARs of interest to DOE.

Review search results, assess relevance, and document findings.

Establish and maintain communication with state and local fusion centers near DOE facilities.

Draft summaries of external SARs for periodic reporting.

Contribute to analytic products where external SARs support broader assessments.

Required Qualifications

Master’s degree with 1+ year of relevant experience or Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.

Active DOE Q or DOD TS clearance required.

Strong writing and analytical skills.

Attention to detail and ability to manage recurring monitoring tasks.

Ability to collaborate with operational and analytic teams.

Salary Salaries are determined based on several factors including external market data, internal equity, and the candidate’s related knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position.
