Job Description The Clinical Nutrition area provides nutritional care and/or education to OSUMC patients, their families, staff, students, and the community. This consult-based service delivers nutritional care pursuant to physician orders. Dietetic technicians are responsible for providing or assisting with nutritional care, including screening, menu checking/modification, ongoing nutrition intervention, and diet education, under the supervision of a registered/licensed dietitian. Dietetic technicians must meet daily job duties, provide or assist with staff, student, and community education, and meet professional development goals. Position located at University Hospitals.
Minimum Qualifications
High School graduate or equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Registered dietetic technician or eligible for registration, or a 4‑year dietetics degree.
Preferred: prior experience as a dietetic technician.
