Health Benefit Representative – Genesee, Bilingual Spanish (Fidelis Care - New York)
Field Based Community Position for Genesee County, NY. Candidate must reside in Genesee County, NY and be bilingual English/Spanish (nice to have).
Position Purpose The Health Benefit Representative (HBR) sells Fidelis Care products and services by first identifying membership growth opportunities in an assigned territory and then meeting or exceeding production goals by enrolling individuals in the appropriate Fidelis Care product. The HBR fully and thoroughly understands and is able to effectively explain, communicate, recommend and enroll individuals into the best product for their unique needs.
Responsibilities
Interact directly with individuals, first conducting a needs-based analysis to recommend the best product and educate them on healthy lifestyles, preventive care services, and assist them through each step of application and enrollment process.
Represent Fidelis Care at community events, marketing sites, and in individuals’ homes to generate referrals.
Build and establish relationships within the community to find new opportunities and sites in the assigned territory; deliver presentations to individuals, groups, providers, community-based organizations and local business leaders.
Use Sales Force CRM for activity tracking, lead/referral tracking, appointment management, calendar management and reporting to management. Communicate QCMI program, provider networks and care management approach accurately.
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED (required).
2 to 5 years of prior experience in managed care, sales, customer service or related field (preferred).
Basic computer skills and a valid driver’s license (required).
Resident of Genesee County, NY.
Bilingual English/Spanish (nice to have).
Additional Requirements 80% travel and 20% office/hub. Work schedule: Monday‑Friday with occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
