Respiratory Care Practitioner Full Time Nights
Job Summary: Provides respiratory care to patients. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
Provide respiratory care to patients as assigned.
Perform diagnostic tests of the cardio-pulmonary system.
Perform quality control on respiratory care equipment, including blood gas analyzers.
Education Required: Graduate of an AMA accredited respiratory care program.
Certifications
Required: RCP or equivalent State licensure; CRT
BLS - At hire or obtain within 5 working days before assuming patient care (2 yr renewal)
ACLS/PALS - At hire or obtain within 60 days of hire/transfer (2 yr renewal)
NRP / STABLE - At hire or obtain within 6 months of hire/transfer (2 yr renewal)
Preferred: RRT
Vaccination Tenet complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. If offered this position and you must be vaccinated under applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date. If you receive an exemption from the vaccination requirement, you will be required to submit to regular testing in accordance with the law.
