About the Role As a trusted advisor to prospects and customers, you will lead technical discovery, solution positioning, and proof‑of‑value initiatives, demonstrating how SOC Prime addresses real‑world security operations challenges. You will play a central role in generating new business in your assigned territory by translating technical credibility into measurable revenue and consistently meeting or exceeding assigned sales targets.
This position requires ownership of all technical aspects of the sales process—from early‑stage qualification through advanced demonstrations, architecture design, competitive positioning, and partner enablement. You will work closely with Account Executives, Product Management, and Partners to align technical strategy with business objectives.
The ideal candidate is comfortable engaging with executive leadership, security architects, and hands‑on practitioners across multiple industries. Prior experience selling into SOC, Threat Hunting, or Detection & Response teams is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
Provide exceptional pre‑sales technical expertise through effective delivery of technical and product demonstrations
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product Managers, serving as the technical liaison between Enterprise customers and internal teams
Assume ownership of the primary technical relationship with pre‑sales customers. Ensure their satisfaction by skillfully managing and delivering technical insights through various channels, including on‑site interactions, online communication, and phone conversations
Support the regional Sales Organization to guarantee the timely and successful closure of sales with potential customers, particularly in the context of SIEM solutions
Facilitate effective communication between customers and Product Management, conveying pertinent feedback and customer requirements
Play a central role in planning and conducting mid/high‑level meetings with customers and prospects
Support technical relationships with alliance and channel partners across the region
Qualifications
7 years of experience in a Sales Engineer or Solutions Engineer role within a cybersecurity company
Deep understanding of core cybersecurity concepts, including network security, endpoint security, cloud security, logging & monitoring, and incident response workflows
Hands‑on experience supporting technical sales activities such as product demonstrations, technical discovery, proof‑of‑concept (POC) deployments, and customer evaluations
Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical practitioners and non‑technical stakeholders
Familiarity with SOC operations, ETL pipelines, SEIM, EDR/XDR, SOAR, or related security platforms
Basic understanding of security frameworks and standards such as: MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, ISO 27001, or SOC 2
Experience working with large government organizations
Experience working inside startup environments
