Responsibilities

Perform Service Calls:

Respond promptly to service requests from residential customers.

Diagnose plumbing issues, such as leaks, clogs, and malfunctioning fixtures.

Repair or replace plumbing systems and components including pipes, fixtures, faucets, toilets, water heaters, and water softeners.

Routine Maintenance:

Conduct preventive maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure efficient operation and prevent future issues.

Inspect and test plumbing systems for leaks, corrosion, and other damage.

Perform drain cleaning and sewer line inspections.

Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:

Utilize diagnostic tools and techniques to identify the root cause of plumbing problems.

Develop effective solutions and implement repairs in a timely manner.

Customer Interaction:

Communicate effectively with customers regarding the status of their plumbing systems.

Provide recommendations for repair or replacement options and explain technical information in an understandable manner.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of service visits, including work performed, parts used, and time spent.

Complete service reports and paperwork in a timely and thorough manner.

Safety and Compliance:

Adhere to safety standards and procedures, including handling of hazardous materials and compliance with plumbing codes and regulations.

Ensure proper disposal of materials and waste according to environmental guidelines.

Continuous Learning:

Stay updated on industry advancements, new technologies, and manufacturer specifications through training and professional development opportunities.

Minimum Education None

Minimum Years of Experience 2-4

Qualifications

Valid Florida driver’s license with a clean driving record for the past 3 years

Punctual, reliable, and self-motivated with the ability to work independently

Strong communication skills and proficiency with computers and technology

Ability to troubleshoot simple to complex plumbing issues effectively

New construction experience is helpful but not required

Experience with gas and tankless water heaters is a plus

Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and crawl, including work in confined spaces

Lift and carry up to 50–75 lbs

Climb ladders and operate hand and power tools

Work indoors/outdoors in varied conditions (heat, cold, dust, water, chemicals)

Use required personal protective equipment (PPE)
