UT Health Pittsburg offers 25 private rooms, a 24-hour Level IV trauma center and Level III stroke center, surgical suites, advanced diagnostics, a sleep lab, swing bed care, 16 physician offices, and a UT Health East Texas Olympic Center fitness facility. Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive technical and clinical support for respiratory care services across our hospitals. Stay updated on the latest advancements in respiratory care practices and technologies. Evaluating and making recommendations for services. Attempting to maintain a high level of didactic and psychomotor skills in order to perform assigned duties. Demonstrating proficiency in providing respiratory care services to include but not limited to the following modalities: invasive and non-invasive ventilatory care, aerosolized medication delivery systems, breathing exercises, oxygen delivery (set-up and maintenance) devices, postural drainage, pulse oximetry and bedside pulmonary function testing. Maintaining high standards of professionalism. Attends appropriate in-service in education both departmental and hospital wide. Qualifications

Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Successful completion of an accredited JRCRTE respiratory care training program Active certification with the state of Texas upon hire only. Recertification upon expiration preferred BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
