As a Respiratory Therapist (RT) you will
Perform respiratory procedures under physician direction in all patient areas.
Be responsible for patient assessments, care plans, implementation, and evaluation and revision of therapy plans as needed.
Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure the most effective and efficient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes.
Utilize knowledge of patient’s age and cultural diversity in the provision of patient care.
Support the organization’s vision and mission and apply performance improvement techniques to assure the delivery of the most effective patient care.
Job Requirements
1 year of respiratory therapy experience (preferred).
Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR) (preferred).
High School Diploma required.
Associate’s Degree preferred.
Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Education Program (e.g., CoARC, JRCRTE, or CAAHEP) required.
Current state licensure (RLT) in applicable state of employment. CRT by NBRC required.
BLS certification required from the American Heart Association.
Current ACLS certification required upon hire or obtained within 6 months of hire.
NRP and PALS certifications required upon hire or obtained within 6 months of hire.
Physical Requirements – Medium Work
Exert up to 50 lbs force occasionally, up to 20 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs constantly.
Where You'll Work Following a major expansion, Holy Cross Hospital in Jordan Valley’s capacity tripled, now housing 171 beds to serve our growing community. The hospital has invested in advanced technology and state‑of‑the‑art equipment, attracting top‑notch medical staff and highly skilled nurses. As a Level III Trauma Center, STEMI Cardiac Receiving Center, and certified stroke treatment center, the team is dedicated to expert care in a warm, family‑friendly environment. The hospital recently received the Women’s Choice Award for America’s 100 Best Hospitals Emergency Care, and is the only designated trauma center west of I‑15 in the Salt Lake Valley.
Pay Range $27.16 – $41.09 per hour
