Week One: Tuesday - Saturday, Week Two: Monday - Friday

Job Summary Provides comprehensive therapeutic recreation services to patients by assessing, planning, implementing, and documenting treatment programs. As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the recreation therapist participates in varied department activities designed to enhance patient care and programs within Rehabilitation Services. Other duties as assigned.

Experience A minimum of 1 year of experience in a rehabilitation setting is preferred.

Education Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation Therapy is required.

Licensure Certification as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) is required or obtained within 6 months of hire. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required.
