We are hiring for a full time
Orientation Therapist
(Social Work) in Salt Lake City, Utah with a fantastic Sign on Bonus and Relocation Package!!!
The Therapist provides a full spectrum of clinical services within the scope of his/ her/their licensure. These services range from mental-health therapy to case management. The Therapist is responsible for providing the highest possible care to every client served. This role can be complex as therapists must navigate between varying interests. For example, while client advocacy and rapport must be priorities, consideration must be given to the interests of funders, legal entities, and other stake holders. This role requires strong collaborative skills, as therapists work with various teams, including treatment teams and legal entities. The Therapist assists the Program Manager and Director of SUD Treatment Services in other administrative tasks and works in concert with the priorities of the Senior Management Team, the Executive Director, and the Board of Directors. Strong interpersonal boundaries and a clear understanding of ethical responsibilities are a necessity for this position. The overall goals of this position are to (a) provide high-quality care for clients, (b) provide a high level of customer service for funders, clients, and other stake holders, and (c) provide support for the clinical and administrative teams.

Pay Ranges from $70,000 - 85,000 per year
Flexible Schedule depending on the facility!
Example schedule: Monday through Thursday, 9-hour days. Relocation package and sign on bonus
Licensure requirements:
MSW, CSW, ACMHC, LMFT, CMHC, or LCSW

Duties to include but not limited to:
Performs initial and ongoing treatment planning in collaboration with the client and the treatment team. Completes timely funding requests and treatment updates based upon the treatment plan. Uses the American Society of Addiction Medicine Criteria (ASAM) in recommending client service levels and in formulating treatment plans. Utilizes the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual 5 TR to render diagnoses, when appropriate. Facilitates addiction-related psychotherapy groups. Teaches and develops life-skills classes. Performs regular individual-therapy sessions for clients with substance-use disorders and comorbid mental health issues. At a minimum, is competent in providing substance-abuse treatment, group therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Knows the legal entities in the community. Is involved in various case-management responsibilities, including helping clients with housing, work-related issues, medical concerns, funding issues, health insurance, discharge planning, referrals, and more. Uses the Electronic Health Record to enter clinical notes, case-management notes, treatment plans, client information updates, billing information and other relevant client information.
