Credentialing Specialist , you’ll play a key role in maintaining the integrity and quality of our healthcare network by ensuring every provider meets the highest standards of compliance and professionalism. What You’ll Do
Review and verify provider credentials, including education, training, licensure, and certifications.
Prepare and submit applications for provider enrollment with insurance plans and organizations.
Maintain accurate credentialing records and track expirations to ensure timely renewals.
Collaborate with providers, office staff, and management to ensure applications are processed efficiently.
Stay current on medical terminology, credentialing standards, and healthcare regulations.
Assist with developing and updating credentialing policies and procedures.
Respond to inquiries from providers and staff regarding credentialing and enrollment status.
What You Bring
Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare regulations.
Prior experience in a medical office, billing, or managed care environment preferred.
Familiarity with credentialing standards, payer enrollment, and compliance requirements.
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and accuracy in recordkeeping.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Proficiency with computer systems and database management.
