About Play We serve families and children ages birth to six with developmental delays or disabilities. We seek energetic, creative, motivated professionals who can manage time and organization.
Qualifications Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Family & Consumer Science, or any related field plus 1 year documented experience working with children birth to six years old. Prior early interventionist experience preferred.
OR Bachelor's Degree in any field plus 5 years documented experience with infants and toddlers or children age birth to five years with disabilities.
Please include all relevant work experience on your resume, specifically highlighting and listing your experience working with children in the 0-6 age range.
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide family-centered early intervention services to families with infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities.
Perform family training with the caregiver and child in their home, daycare or natural environment setting.
Provide training, education, and support to families in the areas of child development, parenting, and family functioning.
Develop and implement strategies to promote the development of the child.
Monitor the progress of the child and family.
Employment Type Full-time
Compensation Base salary $40,000 a year plus mileage reimbursement at $0.45 per mile up to a $565 monthly cap. Potential earnings up to $46,780 annually.

Travel Travel 50 - 75% required.

Experience Minimum 1 year (preferred) of prior early interventionist, teaching, or early child development experience; recent or upcoming college graduate with a degree in a related field and a willingness for on-the-job training is also acceptable.
License and Certification
Driver's license and reliable car
CPR, First Aid, and AED certification (Heartsaver, Infant & Child) preferred
