The Rehabilitation Aide (equivalent to rehabilitation technician and physical therapy aide positions) will assist the Patient Experience Coordinator and clinicians by performing administrative and clinical duties. They will greet patients as they arrive to the clinic and work alongside physical therapists and physical therapy assistants during patient treatment. Duties are conducted in compliance with state practice act requirements. Benefits (Part-time Position)

The below is not an exhaustive list of duties. You may be required to perform additional tasks as needed within the organization. Prepare patients for physical therapy treatments, assist with treatments, and provide routine treatment Safeguard, motivate, and assist patients practicing exercises and functional activities under professional supervision Provide routine treatments (hot/cold packs, ultrasounds, electrical stimulation, and other modalities) Clean work area and equipment after treatment Wash linens/towels; maintain linen cabinets Restroom and general area upkeep; restock supplies Assist Patient Experience Coordinator with answering phones, scheduling appointments, and filing paperwork and charts Assist with inventory tracking and ordering non-medical and medical supplies as needed Qualifications

Education: High school graduate or internship preferred Work Experience: Previous Clinical Aide or Rehab Tech experience preferred Knowledge and Technical Skills:

Strong written and verbal communication Ability to clearly document projects and manage production Attention to detail and time management Patient/Client satisfaction oriented Energetic, team player, and compassionate toward patients Ability to complete tasks thoroughly Basic knowledge of office equipment preferred

Language Skills

Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently Physical Demands

Vision requirements: close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus Frequent talking and listening Office duties: sitting for computer work, filing, lifting and carrying supplies Frequent standing, walking, sitting; use of hands Occasionally lift/move up to 20-25 pounds Fine hand manipulation Work Environment
