About the Role Gifted Potentials is seeking a reliable and dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) for a part-time In‑Home & Community Support case in Coatesville, PA. This role supports an adult with developmental disabilities by promoting daily living skills, community engagement, safety, and independence.
Due to the participant’s personal care preferences, a female DSP is preferred.
Schedule
Monday, Wednesday, Friday
12‑hour weekly case total
Immediate hire
Key Responsibilities
Provide individualized support in the home and community.
Assist with daily living skills, routine activities, and safe decision‑making.
Support community outings, recreation, and meaningful engagement.
Maintain dignity, safety, and respect at all times.
Use person‑centered and trauma‑informed approaches.
Document services accurately and on time.
Communicate with the supervisor and care team to ensure consistency.
Requirements
Availability for all scheduled days.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Prior DSP, CNA, or direct‑care experience preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to redirect or motivate.
Understanding of HCBS standards, person‑centered supports, and HIPAA.
