Job Summary
Radiologic Technologist position at Dignity Health Medical Foundation is responsible for providing patient imaging services under supervision of radiologists and other licensed staff. The role includes preparing patients for radiologic examinations, relaying radiologist instructions, collecting patient data, documenting patient concerns, and performing diagnostic medical imaging. The position may require occasional work at other locations within the Greater Sacramento Area as needed. Responsibilities
Assist in prepping patients for radiologic examinations and performing diagnostic imaging. Relay radiologist instructions to patients or authorized persons. Collect patient data and document patient concerns in the patient medical record for radiologist review. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for patient care services. Possess appropriate licensure and be willing to work in other modalities if required. Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent. Completion of a formal AMA school of Radiologic Technology or equivalent to an AMA Technologic program. Must be licensed by the State of California in CRT. BLS Certification through the American Heart Association. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills. Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy and physiology for imaging, proper operation of radiology diagnostic equipment, and radiation safety. Preferred Qualifications
One (1) year experience as a Radiologic Technologist. Six (6) months experience in an outpatient environment. Medical terminology familiarity and experience with an electronic practice management system and PACS. ARRT Certification. Work Location
Dignity Health Medical Foundation, established in 1993, provides care centers throughout California, Arizona, and Nevada. The role is based at a Dignity Health Advanced Imaging location within the Greater Sacramento Area, which serves more than 175,000 exams annually. Pay Range
