What you'll Do:

Provides for the safe, efficient delivery of respiratory care and services, as well as educational instruction for patients, caregivers and Hospice staff as it pertains to respiratory treatments, supplies and equipment.

Requires excellent clinical and interpersonal skills along with the ability to organize work priorities and trouble‑shoot equipment.

What You'll Need:

Education and/or Experience: Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two‑year College or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum of 2 years clinical respiratory care experience preferred

Licensure

Florida license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Continuing Education: Biannual CEUs as required by the Florida Board of Licensure

Valid Florida State Driver’s License

For field‑based positions, employees must have reliable transportation which will enable them to perform tasks and responsibilities in a timely and appropriate fashion. Must provide proof of valid automobile insurance, a copy of which will be placed in the employee’s HR file.
