Responsibilities
Manage the playroom and facilitate interactions of children between peers, volunteers, and students in the playroom.
Create a safe, therapeutic playroom environment for patients, families, and staff.
Set up, supervise, and clean developmentally appropriate activities.
Maintain playroom supplies and manage incoming donations.
Ensure toys and playroom are cleaned per hospital policies.
Train and supervise volunteers; escal…
Coordinate bedside activities and support community group visits.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED with some coursework in Child Development (College Level Preferred).
Associate degree in Child Development, Psychology, or related field preferred.
Previous experience working with children.
Current BLS certification (or certification within 90 days of hire) for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association.
