Home Health Aide (HHA) Responsibilities
Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Provide companionship, emotional support, and engage clients in meaningful activities.
Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
Monitor and report changes in clients’ health and well‑being.
Follow individualized care plans to ensure client safety and comfort.
Assist with mobility, transfers, and transportation as needed.
Home Health Aide (HHA) Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Valid Home Health Aide Certificate from a reputable program.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Licensed driver with insured, reliable automobile and proof of insurance.
Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing high‑quality care.
Preferred: one year of documented caregiver or home‑care experience.
Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest X‑ray.
Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality.
Proficient in English: read, write, speak, and understand effectively.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform necessary physical tasks.
