Senior Database Architect
to join a federal company located in the DC/VA area. This role focuses on
enterprise data governance
with deep expertise in
Collibra
to design and manage frameworks, metadata, lineage, and master data management. The candidate will integrate Collibra with modern platforms, enable self-service data discovery, and leverage automation and AI/ML to improve data quality and governance efficiency.
Responsibilities of the Senior Database Architect Include:
Implement data governance frameworks using Collibra.
Maintain metadata, lineage, and MDM practices.
Integrate Collibra with platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, AWS).
Ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and federal standards.
Train users on Collibra and self-service data discovery.
Automate governance workflows and apply AI/ML for data quality.
Qualifications of the Senior Database Architect Include:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
10+ years in data governance with Collibra expertise .
Strong knowledge of metadata, lineage, and MDM.
Hands-on Collibra integration with modern data platforms.
Familiarity with data privacy and regulatory standards.
Experience with automation and AI/ML for governance.
Preferred (not required):
DHS Suitability Clearance.
Advanced Collibra workflows/connectors.
Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform.
Compensation of the Senior Database Architect Includes:
Salary Range: $155,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year, based on experience and certifications.
Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision; 401k, PTO, holidays, and sick leave as required by law.
