Experienced Construction Estimator
to join our growing team in Southeast Michigan.
What You’ll Do:
Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects
Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to create detailed scopes of work for all work divisions
Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and clients
Identify cost-saving opportunities and value-engineering options
Assist with budgeting, scheduling, and proposal development
Evaluate and qualify subcontractor bids for optimal project cost creation
Present budgets, schedules, and project cost summaries to prospective and/or existing clients
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience as a construction estimator (5+ years preferred)
Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and industry standards
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project documents
Proficiency with estimating/takeoff software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar)
Excellent communication, analytical, time management, and organizational skills
Commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines
