About the Role
Kanda is seeking a passionate and outcome-focused
Physiotherapist
to join our team in Underdale, SA. Reporting to the Clinical Manager, you will play a vital role in assessing clients, developing tailored exercise programs, and empowering them to achieve their independence goals within the community setting. Key Responsibilities
Client Assessment & Rehabilitation:
Assess client strengths and abilities, and design personalised exercise and rehabilitation programs aimed at improving independence in daily activities such as hygiene, dressing, meal preparation, and mobility. Safety & Equipment Management:
Conduct home safety assessments (including falls prevention), prescribe and manage necessary equipment, and provide education on its use to staff and carers. Care Planning & Review:
Review and update client care plans to ensure they reflect best practice and align with individual client goals. Multidisciplinary Collaboration:
Work closely with the Home Services team and TCP Coordinator, providing updates and reports to the multidisciplinary team, and facilitating referrals to specialist services as required. Liaise with medical practitioners and hospital discharge planners. Training & Education:
Support the training and development of RNs, ENs, Care Workers, clients, and carers. Documentation & Administration:
Complete daily electronic/paper documentation for client visits, manage equipment stock/hire/loan, and coordinate brokered services as needed. About You
Current
AHPRA registration
as a Physiotherapist with
no conditions . Hold a
Bachelor of Applied Science - Physiotherapy
(or equivalent). Minimum of
2 years’ experience
as a Physiotherapist. Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal. Demonstrated ability to hold self and others accountable to meet commitments. Committed to ongoing
Professional Development
(30 hours annually as per AHPRA). What We Offer
