Job Details Base pay rate:
$25.00 - $27.00 per hour
Shift:
Full‑time, Day Shift
Responsibilities
Transport, deliver, and unload windows and patio door products to customers, dealers, distribution centers, and construction job sites using a box truck.
Operate vehicles safely and efficiently; perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections in accordance with DOT regulations (FMCR).
Deliver correct products and complete required paperwork accurately.
Maintain vehicle inspections, fuel, oil, water, and safety equipment; report discrepancies.
Report all road hazards, accidents, injuries, and DOT roadside inspections.
Plan trips, read maps, and determine the shortest and safest routes.
Interact courteously with dispatchers, company staff, and customers.
Complete delivery tickets, obtain customer signatures, annotate discrepancies, and notify customer service.
Ensure trip paperwork, permit book, accident kit, load, and safety equipment are in order.
Record trip data, including odometer readings and driver daily logs.
Assist with additional duties assigned by the Shipping Manager.
Qualifications
Valid Class B driver’s license preferred.
Clean driving record and minimum of 2 years of delivery driver experience.
1 year of manual labor, commercial driving, and manual transmission preferred.
DOT compliant.
Experience reading maps and using electronic GPS.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.
Can work with minimal supervision.
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English (Strongly Preferred).
Demonstrate efficiency in performing all job duties.
