Join Macy’s as a Retail Visual Merchandiser in King of Prussia, PA. Work full‑time (30+ hrs/week) and help bring brand concepts to life through creative display design and seasonal merchandising.
Base Pay Range $16.00/hr – $22.50/hr
Job Summary The Visual Merchandiser uses creativity and a strong sense of style to design and maintain displays that enhance the shopping experience and highlight key products. This role focuses on seasonal trends, three‑dimensional props, vinyl graphics, and in‑store events to bring brand concepts to life.
Daily Responsibilities
Prepare the store for the day by reviewing priorities, assessing product placement, and staying informed on new arrivals and top sellers.
Create welcoming, customer‑focused displays and maintain a shoppable space by refreshing signage, updating pricing, and supporting merchandise moves.
Install promotional collateral (vinyl graphics, wall signage, prop displays) in line with the marketing calendar and direction.
Construct and install three‑dimensional elements using hand/power tools such as drills, saws, hammers, screwdrivers, and staple guns.
Collaborate with store leadership and cross‑functional teams to align on priorities and initiatives.
Maintain visual standards on the sales floor, ensuring displays remain clear, organized, and appealing to customers.
Support sales goals by creating presentations that inspire customers to purchase through innovative visual merchandising.
Assist in maintaining the store floor throughout the day by updating visual signage and keeping displays recovered.
Qualifications
Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays with dependable attendance.
Strong communication skills in English; ability to read and follow employment policies, visual merchandising directives, and safety rules.
Experience creatively executing visual merchandising projects on a monthly, quarterly, and seasonal basis.
Knowledge of current fashion trends and Macy’s visual merchandising standards.
Proficiency with vinyl graphics, wall signage, prop displays, and installation tools.
Resourceful with a flair for adding creative details that reflect Macy’s style while staying within visual direction.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and reach above eye level.
Comfortable with frequent computer use, handheld equipment, and processing register transactions.
Physical Requirements
Continuous standing, lifting (50 lbs), and reaching for at least two consecutive hours.
Requires good vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Frequent use of computers and technology for transaction processing.
