Base Pay Range $50,000.00/yr - $50,000.00/yr

Job Duties
Meet and assist the customer in a courteous and professional manner, providing them with the information they need.
Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information to customers.
Ensure that incoming inventory is stocked in the correct location.
Maintain the parts department in a clean and organized manner.
Accurately price parts and accessories using the proper pricing source and keep the computer system up to date.
Retrieve purchased parts from inventory or, if the requested parts are not in inventory, determine availability, prepare parts requisition, and submit order as required.
If the part is not in stock, determine availability, prepare parts requisition, and submit an emergency order if requested by the customer.
Inform customers of any current specials.
Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick‑up.
Receive and ship parts in accordance with company policies.
Display parts attractively to generate sales.
Solicit assigned accounts by phone.
Issue credit for parts returned, in accordance with company policies.
Advise Parts Manager of any inventory discrepancies and if areas of the department are not in good condition.
Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company’s Values in all interactions with customers, co‑workers and vendors.
Assist in inventory control to achieve maximum turnover in accordance with established goals.
Ensure that the work areas and customer waiting area are kept clean.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent and prior auto parts sales experience (preferred).
Eager to improve in a dynamic work environment.
Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
Ability to read/interpret safety and maintenance documents.
Ability to calculate figures/amounts including discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, %, area, circumference, and volume.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
