Key Responsibilities

Assist with planning, coordinating, and reviewing shipping processes to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant order fulfillment.

Monitor adherence to quality, safety, and engineering standards in all shipping activities.

Lead by example in meeting individual productivity goals and quality standards.

Identify and communicate product or personnel issues to the Department Supervisor promptly.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company standards.

Monitor departmental KPIs and assist in driving improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Participate in or lead continuous improvement projects within the department.

Ensure proper documentation and transaction of inventory in the ERP system (D365).

Ensure accurate tracking and disposal of scrap materials.

Communicate shipping status, delays, or urgent issues with the Department Supervisor daily.

Support training and onboarding new full-time and temporary employees within the department.

Monitor and report on inventory and supplies (e.g., boxes, pallets, packaging materials).

Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all safety procedures and protocols. Assist with department opening and securing procedures as assigned.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems (D365 preferred).

Minimum Skills

Strong verbal and written communication

Drive for results

Flexibility and adaptability to changing work conditions

Attention to details

Understanding of the warehouse processes.

Ability to think independently and make decisions.

Must be able to carry/lift 50 pounds.

Minimum Experience

Minimum five (5) years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.

At least two (2) years of experience in a lead or supervisory role preferred.

Previous forklift experience.
