As a Customer Service Representative you’ll help patients check into the hospital. It’s fast‑paced and you’ll be the point of contact for registration questions, building trust through accurate data collection and compassionate listening.

Responsibilities

Work on computers and answer phones to intake information in a busy environment, managing multiple screens and programs.

Assist ill or worried patients, listening carefully and building rapport to ease anxiety.

Work quickly to collect patient and insurance information while handling unexpected variations in plans.

Collaborate with a supportive team that supports career growth within R1 RCM.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.

Excellent customer service experience.

At least 1 year of experience in a medical environment.

For this US‑based position, the base pay range is $17.68 ‑ $24.07 per hour, determined by role, level, location, skills, experience and training.
