Customer Service Representative

Job Summary The Customer Service Representative serves as a key point of contact for Swagelok Southeast Texas customers. This role is responsible for processing customer orders, preparing quotes, providing product information, and coordinating internally to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment. The CSR works closely with outside sales, warehouse, and operations teams to deliver a high level of customer confidence and service excellence.
Responsibilities
Respond to incoming customer calls, emails, and inquiries
Prepare quotes and process sales orders accurately and efficiently
Review customer purchase orders for pricing, terms, and accuracy
Provide product information, availability, and delivery updates
Track, expedite, and coordinate shipments to meet customer needs
Process returns, credits, and customer concerns as needed
Maintain accurate customer records and documentation
Communicate customer needs and sales opportunities to outside sales
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve order or service issues
Utilize SAP Business One, Zendesk, and other business systems
Education & Experience
Minimum of 3 years of customer service or inside sales experience, preferably in an industrial distribution or technical environment
Experience with ERP systems required (SAP preferred)
Zendesk or similar CRM experience a plus

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
