Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities Support a partner with a prominent practice and extensive relationships across the business and political communities. Manage a complex calendar and priorities across time zones ensuring proper sequencing of meetings, deadlines, and travel. Prepare and distribute agendas, briefing materials, talking points, stakeholder mapping, minutes, and action tracking. Draft and refine correspondence; manage high-touch communications and maintain CRM data. Coordinate outreach, events, and relationship touches; organize internal/external meetings, client events, and speaking engagements. Coordinate with government, corporate, and trade association contacts. Plan travel, including detailed itineraries, changes on the fly, and expense reporting. Serve as gatekeeper, perform information triage with utmost discretion, and manage confidential/sensitive information.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of three (3) years supporting senior partners in a law firm and/or high?ranking government officials; experience in Washington, D.C. strongly preferred. Proven success managing high?volume, high?stakes schedules and communications with high?level stakeholders. Exceptional writing, editing, and diplomatic communication skills. Demonstrated judgment, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Jones Day offers competitive salaries and benefits to all employees. Compensation is determined upon the market in which the position is located, the responsibilities of the position, the experience and skills of the applicant, and other job?related factors.
