This is a free entry‑level training program for direct care workers. It is open to all interested participants regardless of employment interest at BAYADA and is designed to benefit the participant.

Qualifications
40‑hour commitment for direct care worker training offered at 1189 Highway 315 Suite 4, Wilkes‑Barre, PA 18702 (Monday‑Friday 9:00 AM‑5:00 PM).
18 years of age or older.
Training Curriculum
Activities of daily living
Light housekeeping
Bathing
Grooming
Toileting
Nail care
Range of motion / exercises
Transfers
Oral feeding
Home management tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making, etc.
Assisting with ambulation
Medication assistance
