We are seeking a Shipping And Receiving Specialist to perform daily delivery, order fulfillment, packaging, receiving, and shipment duties of component boxes and materials. Conducts scheduling of orders, ensures accuracy of packaging products, and scans barcodes within the SAP system. Will work with other employees and departments to resolve shipping and receiving matters. Candidates should enjoy working in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment, and be prepared to tackle a broad selection of challenges as the company grows.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the packaging within the shipping system and daily component packaging and customer customization order filing within the delivery and packing system.

Schedule orders and ensure accuracy of packaging products; double boxing and palletizing.

Complete daily inbound receiving of product and packages and notify recipients accordingly.

Scan barcodes of shipping modules to the SAP system for record keeping.

Coordinate and provide support with employees and/or other departments to resolve shipping and packaging issues and matters.

Perform and complete any other tasks/projects as assigned.

Maintain inventory and supplies.

Maintain cleanliness throughout the warehouse and carry out facilities maintenance duties as needed.

Operate forklift to accomplish shipping/receiving duties.

Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins.

Examine outgoing shipments to ensure they meet requirements.

Unpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shippers to rectify damages and shortages.

Pack and ship orders to internal and external customers in the most efficient manner.

Prepare and print shipping labels corresponding to shipping needs.

Requirements

Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of warehouse experience.

Minimum one (1) year of related warehouse experience within the consistent areas of material handling, shipping and receiving, distribution, and/or operations.

Good understanding of basic/fundamental warehouse shipping and receiving procedures.

Experience and skill in the SAP system is preferred.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Ability to perform multiple tasks and work independently.

Ability to perform within a changing workload and/or priorities and meet order schedules with quality results.

Ability to collaborate and work well within a team environment, and willingness to motivate and support others.

Ability to lift up to thirty (30) pounds.

Verbal and written communication skills.

Computer skills are preferred (i.e.: Google Suite).

Forklift license is a plus (annual recertification will be required).

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

Work Environment: while performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to odor, noise, dust, heat, cold, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The temperature in the work environment may not always be regulated.

Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 4:30PM.
