(USA)FT Tire and Battery Service Advisor Responsibilities

Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate other associates on tools and resources, mentor new technicians, and develop interpersonal skills for safe and efficient customer service.

Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, seasonality, and Point‑of‑Sale systems, phone and in‑person selling techniques.

Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience, elevate associate engagement, and use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions about services, safety alerts, new product information, product applications, and training.

Be an Owner: Communicate equipment, tools, and supplies needs to the TBC Lead; track and monitor returns and special orders; operate cash registers; process transactions; maintain accurate inventory; audit safety and compliance standards; report complaints, safety hazards, and problems; complete required documentation; ensure merchandise is packaged, labeled, and stored per company policies; identify member needs, assist with purchasing decisions, and resolve issues.

Be a Talent Ambassador: Act as a brand advocate, value member experience, model high‑quality service and products, influence and inspire others in a respectful, supportive, and team‑oriented style, and assist in training team members.

Compliance and Integrity: Apply company policies and ethics, use the Open Door Policy, prioritize work assignments, collaborate with managers and teammates, identify priorities and deadlines, deliver results with customer focus, balance short‑ and long‑term priorities, and model Walmart values.

Team and Culture: Embrace differences, foster belonging, build trusting relationships, communicate with impact and positivity, recognize contributions, and support others in their growth.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Valid state‑issued driver's license.

18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the auto service industry and retail experience.

Compensation $18.00/hr – $25.00/hr. Additional compensation may include premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
