Maintenance Technician – Senior Housing
Brookdale invites applicants for the Maintenance Technician role in senior housing communities. This position focuses on maintaining the interior and exterior of community buildings and grounds, ensuring residents experience a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment. Responsibilities
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on HVAC, elevators, fire and sprinkler systems, generators, landscaping, kitchen equipment, and emergency pull cords. Complete general maintenance projects as assigned and respond to maintenance requests from community directors and residents. Communicate proactively with fire marshals, building inspectors, and other governing authorities. Contribute to a high standard of cleanliness, safety, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Qualifications
Proven mechanical or electrical repair skills and experience in facility maintenance. Knowledge of HVAC, elevator, fire suppression, and general building systems. Strong problem‑solving capabilities and ability to prioritize tasks. Good communication skills and ability to work with residents and community staff. Valid driver’s license; ability to travel between sites as required. Experience in healthcare or senior living environments is a plus. Benefits
