About the Role The Marketing team at PitchBook is critical to fueling the company’s growth by utilizing a variety of strategies to support our Sales and Customer Success departments. The Marketing department is responsible for all demand generation efforts by executing engaging campaigns, effective product marketing strategies, and attending client and trade‑show events. The Marketing team is also responsible for promoting the PitchBook brand.
PitchBook’s Sr. Customer Experience Specialist plays a key role in executing impactful experiences and programs that support our growing Customer Success team. This position focuses on supporting client events globally and a targeted gifting strategy to enhance client relationships and strengthen our brand presence. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, and a candidate eager to experiment, explore new tactics, and continually improve our ability to connect with our customers. The role thrives in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment while offering support over an aggressive roadmap of marketing opportunities. The ability to work effectively across various internal and external teams including Sales, Customer Success, and Creative is critical to support a cohesive approach to our events and gifting strategy.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Support the execution of a global client event strategy – designed to support in‑person interactions for our Sales and Customer Success teams
Support (and manage when necessary) end‑to‑end event planning process including venue and catering requirements, signage, shipping, swag, and event documentation as needed
Coordinate on‑site event needs – printing, giveaways, and signage
Oversee and maintain our client gifting platform, Sendoso, including campaign and inventory management, as well as support for Sales and Customer Success
Support the Company Store as necessary
Support the vision and values of the company through role modelling and encouraging desired behaviours
Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
3+ years of relevant professional experience in Marketing and Events Management
A true team player with the ability to work productively across diverse teams in rapidly changing conditions. Partnership and collaboration are a fundamental requirement
Relentlessly high standards with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and priorities. Detail oriented and deadline driven
Ability to travel 1‑3 times per year
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including in‑depth knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel with the ability to pick up new systems and software easily. Experience with automation software and project planning tools are preferred
Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future

Compensation
Annual base salary: $78,000-$85,000
Target annual bonus percentage: 7.5%
